The primary aim of the choir is to encourage the enjoyment of music and this is done mainly by giving concerts. Our concerts usually take place locally, however from time to time we are prepared to travel.

The choir has made several visits to other parts of the country. We have performed in the Peak District, Wales, Devon and Bournemouth, as well as Germany and Gibraltar. We have sung in Worcester Cathedral, York Minster, Hereford Cathedral and Buckfast Abbey. Recently we were invited to sing in the Queen’s Church at Sandringham.

It is estimated that approximately £100,000 has been raised for charity through fundraising performances during the choir’s 75 year existence. Click here to visit our Hire us page and read more about our concerts.
